First post, 2nd pic (under hood pic). Passenger side (right side of the car, left side of pic), along the fender, just behind the radiator frame, right next to the intake tube "snoot."
You can see the jump post cap (looks like a big black nut). There's supposed to be a boxy black cover over the whole area, but it's missing in the pic (apparently installed now).

Edit to add:

This page popped up in a different thread. 2nd Pic, Item #1.

Default Options Sticker

Here's the options sticker but I don't know how to interpret it.

If you know what this sticker is saying, please share it.

Thanks!!

Default Jump Post

Yes, the jump post cover has been reinstalled.

Here's a picture of the engine with it there.

It's a rather early '87 5-speed in classic Black 'n Tan- note the lack of reinforcing ribs on the intake plenum around the flappy shaft cover. Is the rear wing a folding wing?

Originally a California car, which bodes well for corrosion issues. No rear air, that simplifies the A/C refurb.

I see a lot of original, un-messed with 928 here- VIN tags on both front fenders, both decals on the cowl cover, cargo cover, original hood pad, original door speakers, etc.

No cracks in the dash or pod? How many miles? Leather on the seats is intact enough that they could be made almost perfect with a couple hours of refurb.

What's the schmutz on the front bumper cover? It could just be dried condensation and dust but in the pics it looks like paint damage. Hopefully it isn't, but the presentation is not helping you- If you're going to try to sell a black car, at least wash & detail it. It's worth your time to do a little marketing on a low-5-figure transaction.

Thanks for spelling out the sticker.

Yes, it's an early 87, according to the Porsche Warranty and Maintenance Book on the Warranty Voucher page, it was delivered to the original owner on 11/12/1986.

There are a few small cracks in the dashboard and the plastic on the inside lower right corner of the windshield is torn too.

A little over 115,000 miles.

The front bumper cover has a couple of small scuffs, nothing terrible.

I haven't had a chance to get it detailed but it cleans up beautifully!!

I would consider a lower 5 figure selling price, make me an offer!!!

Call or text me if you want more info, 312-969-1017.

Me and the car are in CA so don't ping me too early!!
