Bob and I will be meeting at 830 in the Marianos parking lot at Cumberland and Higgins. Leaving at 8:45am. If you wanna caravan with us. Text or call me 773-616-9560 if you wanna join us. We will try and form or join a Porsche group at the event. Even if your car requires work please drive her even if its a work in progress. I know mine is.

I have been to probably 10 or 15 of the Supercar Saturday events held over the past few years. As D-VO has already said, this is a Cars and Coffee style meet. It's not a concours event where every car is expected to be beyond perfect. There is a huge variety of cars. And as Rich said, even if your car is still a work in progress (aren't they all?) your car will fit right in with the rest. No judging, no prizes, just people who like cars getting together. It would be great to see a number of 928s there! If your 928 is not currently mobile, stop by anyway to meet other 928 owners.

If you leave at 8:45am from that location, you will struggle to find group parking, and it will be among the fringes of the overflow lot. Not trying to be a jerk, but just setting your expectations knowing what I know about the event.
Now, if you left at 6:45am from that location, you'd have a super nice drive down with zero traffic and be able to park together and see everything else roll in (my favorite part).
In any case, I'll try and seek you guys out during the event, looking forward to it.

The Supercar Saturday event turned out well. It was great to meet D-VO (Brendan) who has been organizing this event for 6 years. Also got a chance to meet Ltoolio (Ryan) and UNEEKONE (Steve). Hopefully we can get together in the near future with more Chicago area 928 owners.
