It's REALLY easy to get those kind of stickers custom made.
I got mine at a store at the mall that made stickers like those.
It cost $20 for one 8x10 sheet.
All I had to give them was my own sheet of paper,
with a printout of what I wanted, in black and white.
I got them in a couple of days.
You can get a variety of colors.
But if you want a mix of colors, it has to come on a new sheet, which is an extra $20 per sheet.
But you can fit more than one set of 928 stickers on one sheet.
So it's definately economical.

Is this the "Jack in Malta" user name? He used to post somewhat frequently, but haven't seen any recent posts. But then again, what's the chance of it being the same person. Is there a lot of 928's in Malta?

Hi
Its just not worth it, I must admit US postal is the worst I have ever come accross but some of the comments I get about the US$ 12 scam are getting too much
We have shipped 3 sets of decals to this guy, I actually spent more on the postage than we got for them
It would be easier to make the USA Airborne Express Courier only (costs US$ 24) but they will at least arrive in 3-4 days
Probably time to go this way - what is disapointing is that the rest of the world gets its decals by mail and the USA lose 10% of them.
BTW they still get here quicker than the 928 Big Brake upgrade I did through Devek that took 3 months by Courier
Best regards

Hi Anthony
Yes its the same person, I have made a few posts recently on my 928 regarding the engine stopping when I turn on the headlamps, I used to do a lot of posts when I have the engine problems but they are now fixed so my issues with my car are the easy to see and hard to fix stuff but do not require a lot of help - just untold cash and plenty of patience
Just fitted the Strosek rear hatch - another nightmare but its nearly there, beat the old rusty one I have

Jack:
I put in a plug for your company when I purchased the decal from you the middle of September. I have been more than patient waiting over two months for the damn thing. Shane and Ed have the same problem. Would you be happy with this sort of service? I've never had any problem before receiving anything from anywhere with the US mail. What's the problem from Malta?

Hi Don
The problem is not from Malta, 100%.
In August we sent 200 Decals sets out by Registered Express Airmail, 100 to the USA and 100 to UK and Australia
All 100 to UIK and Australia arrived, variation on Delivery time from 5-19 days, no pattern as som e reached Australia quickly some didnt.
To the USA, 89 arrived, 11 disappeared entirely and can only be traced to the USA shores. Delivery time 9-35 days. US Postal dont want to discuss this, the US Embassy is looking at it and Maltapost, our post office is horrified.
We ship most decals in brown padded envelope, clearly marked and labelled with return addresses, all labels are printed.
UK post office told us that US Postal were taking reasonable quantities of non USA mailbags and checking them BUT this can take from several days to weeks and was cuasing issues.
many of our packages have been opened, and checked and I understand this is needed, but the delays are outrageous.
All packages are date stamped so the ship date is obvious when they get there, I am aware of you and 2 others who are still waiting, the loss rate when the packages are sent normal Airmail not registered is much better so they have all been reshipped but as I stated earlier we may go to Courier only delivery as the hassle and time spent resolving lost post are not owrth it. We made these decals for our cars initially and then sold them on at quite a reasonable cost and although I understand your point but from my side to scam US$ 12 its not even worth considering and when I see we have trouble free sales for the rest of the wqorld I think we will probably drop the USA until this issue improves - sorry but little else to do on this. I will however ensure that all orders are reshiped and reshipped until you get them
THanks

Jack,
Have you considered using the Big 3 as your US suppliers? Then you could ship bulk quantities to singular locations.
Or you could have a personal distributor working for you in the US, similar to what John Speake at JDSPorsche does.
If you are loosing money by shipping overseas to the US, maybe you should consolidate IN the US, and transfer said loss in revenue to a distributor.
That way you can maintain happy customers, on-time shipping, and an excellent reputation.

Don, the S3 decals that I ordered from Paul in Malta took exactly 7 weeks to arrive. After waiting about 5 weeks I sent him an e-mail and he sent out another set to me. Looks like I will be receiving another set in the mail after the new year. Just hold on, they should show up one day when you are not waiting for them anymore.

In his defense, I had better luck with the mail, the order arrived in less than 2 weeks, maybe that is b/c I'm in a major city.
OTH it was the wrong set. I decided it was my fault. It was an ebay auction and I queried him about changing the item for letters not numbers. That was too much of a detail, but I figured I'd have to stand the postage and it wasn't worth it. He also worked only with cash or int'l money order, a definite negative.
In conclusion, it would be good if he went through the big 3 b/c they don't have this item. I think Tweeks or Performance has them, but they are considerably more expensive.

Perhaps I missed something in my perusal of this thread but I recently saw a link to

Hi
Further to a couple of the last replies on thsi thread, I have changed many sets for people who change there minds on colour, order the wrong stuff, we dont normally even bother with the postage. I take every form of payment, paypal, credit cards, cheques so the issuue of Cash and IMO is not from me or my website.
I do sell on Ebay, I have over 1200 decent feedbacks and a few negative on items that did not arrive although they were mailed out, we also get stupid comments about delayed shipments when they arrive 9 days after the auction is paid for.
We generally refund people who claim they didnt arrive or we reship. People who are rude and abusive can take a hike, tehre is no need for this, we arun a registered businesss in Malta and I orderr a lot of stuff for my Porsche from the USA and Europe, many times stuff is wrong or missing, esp for my Big brake upgrade, being abusive is a very poor way of resolving issues, communication needs to be clear and most problems can be resolved and I no this from experience, I have been importing my own Porsche parts for 20+ years so far so I have come across all sort
Latest feature on our Auctions and Website will be shipping by Airborne Express - door to door 3 working days, trackable on-line US$ 22, our products are very well priced, the delivery is still half the price of Fedex, UPS or DHL and just as quick, Airmail works for 90% of customers, the US Postal guy with the Potsche collection takes the rest
Thanks
