Default slightest hesitation

I was looking for advise. My 86.5 idles fine, runs very nice, idle kicks down properly, but if I give the throttle a very quick tap the rpm's drop slightly before increasing. I did find some vac. leaks early on fixed them and she ran real nice. This just started last couple times out. It's a problem when starting in first ( well the only time i notice it ) thanks for any suggestions.

It is possible that there is unmeterd air entering through misfit intake/plenum boots.
Make sure the "pipe organ" boots are fitted properly.

They don't so much crack or split, but they can slip off from one side or the other, and if the band clamp is too tight, it can deform the boot enough to cause the clamp to slip towards the middle creating a small gap.
Could be an ignition spark issue, but always check the simplist things out first.
