Default Oil Fill Cap

OK. I'm honestly embarrassed to ask this. It pains me to type this post.

I've changed oil in more cars than I can count. Checked oil in far more.

But I'm not 100% sure that I'm looking at the oil fill cap on my '82.

The PO installed a SC, and he made a number of changes under the hood. One of them was clearly removing the stock yellow cap.

I'm willing to swallow my pride and ask rather than do something that's going to f the car up.

So...can anyone confirm? And please be gentle

BTW....your car did not have a yellow cap. That is actually the stock oil filler for your year.

Excellent. Thanks, guys.

And Greg - good to know. All my prior searching, which added up to going through ~375 posts here on RL, indicated the yellow cap.

Once again, RL to the rescue.
