They're not in awful shape actually, but I can see where they would fall apart if handled to much or roughly. The one side does want to come out of the rubber connector, which mounts to the timing cover...do you know how they were originally attached. If they were just slid together...originally...mine needs some help now staying in place. I pictured maybe using a little body molding adhesive, 3M stuff, or something.

They will head inside the house for storage.

Got a little brust of energy in the afternoon, so l went out and straighten the fins on the AC condenser, you could see where someone had rested their knee on the headlight cross rod...and slipped off into it.

Checked the AC fan, too, since the system seems to have freon, clutch kicks in when turned on, but doesn't cool very well...sure enough...fan doesn't work. Naturally, the parts car's was missing. Went out to the parts car three times yesterday...and each time came back empty handed. I guess I'm going to have too change its name from parts car to ugly yard ornament...lol.

Truth be told, I don't particularly like the looks of them and the car originally didn't have them. Call me old fashion, or stupid...lol, but I like the chrome rings and domed lights...and my wife does too...and what my wife wants, my wife gets...well besides that thirty year old replacement husband she's been talking about lately...but truth be told, that might not be a bad idea...it would leave me more time and energy for working on the cars...lol.

Those H4s are very expensive, so you can sell them and make some good funds to finance other things.
As to the tubes, they just push on at the rubber sleeve like the later plastic ones do. They do not come apart - they are one long piece.

I see...mine must be broken. No biggy, someone would be hard pressed to see that, once put together...and it ain't like I'm going to let someone touch them...well, unless some Victoria Secret swimsuit model comes along and asks nicely.

Thank you, for the info.

If you're looking to sell the H4s, let me know. I'll toss in my chrome ring lights in case you ever needed another set.
