The lower ones are Brian. But what happens is that because of the material that they are made out of, the engine bay heat over time causes them to become brittle and disintegrate. I have a good set which I only use now for special car shows, and use the regular ones (shown in your top picture) for driving. Those early ones are made out of stuff that feels like cardboard or something. Anyway, they are nla; and I am looking for a spare set in decent shape, and will pay dearly for them if anyone has a spare set (need to be original too). These are more rare now than the 85/86 venturi tubes.

Again, sorry for the OT discussion and hopefully we will see #277 at Sharks in Hell.

So she gets Marilyn and the red 80 (has she named it yet?) you get this one, the 79 track car and the supercharged 81 you can't drive yet.
Sounds fair to me.
And for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Lorelei, she's pretty amazing (and amazingly pretty too )

It's safe, she only pops on here once and a while......
She's over Marilyn already, and has named the 80 "Tawny" as in "kitaen" from the Whitesnake videos.
She's home, more photos once I get her all cleaned up.
I got my first look at the underside while on the trailer, few things to note:
1. Wow this car is clean
2. Alternator coolant hose is attached
3. It has a belly pan!!!!
4. The subtle differences between this car and all the rest are very interesting. From the warning light button, location of the wiper button, style of the vents etc.... It's fun discovering a car like this.
The clutch is doing the same thing my 81 was doing years ago that started such a saga of threads. As of right now I'm not driving it which is why I brought a trailer, no sense in making it worse. From a cold start it fires right up, settles to idle and purrs like a kitten.

HP,
A couple questions, does your car have a spare tire, and if it does is it similar to a 82's. My 78's is missing, and I have a lead on a tire...but it is out of an 82. Also, I googled the color of your car...looking for the English version...but I'm coming up empty handed. What color would that be...in English...or as some Americans say...in American language...lol. That is one sweet color combination!
