Default electrical to the 044 pump

I heard that the stock wiring will not run the 044 pump. is this true.
if it is true does anyone have a pic of how they installed and connected the electrical.

I have an 044 pump on the stock fuel pump circuit for more than 8 years without any problems whatsoever.

The in tank filter was replaced when I changed the pump, and the fuel tank line also now has an AN fitting for the pump inlet to prepare for dual 044 pumps for a secondary fuel line.

I digress...

Stock, good working circuit will operate the 044 pump just fine.

Internet "wisdom" shows it drawing about 12 amps which is low for a performance pump. Obviously a more direct electrical connection should provide a higher volume but adding a fuse, a relay, and a wire from the battery is not really necessary for most 928s.
