044 wiring diagram request
I have the 044 fuel pump hooked up and purchased the wiring kit Andrew used but the wiring diagram is crap and I was wondering if anyone had or could make me a simple diagram. Right now it's hooked up to the stock wiring and electrical is not my strong point...

If your relay is a high quality part it will have numbers on the backside of it, where the terminals enter the plastic case. If it does, I can tell you what wire goes where.
Take a look.
Hopefully you've got numbers like 85, 86, 87, and 30.

Hook the original power wire that currently goes to the fuel pump up to terminal 86 of the relay. Run a new ground wire from terminal 85 of the relay. (You can run this wire from the relay to the ground wire on the fuel pump.) Run a fused wire directly from the battery to 30 on the relay. Run a new wire from terminal 87 to the positive terminal on the pump. You can use the orignal ground wire that attached to the pump, on the new pump.
Here's how it works:
When the fuel pump circuit energizes, terminal 86 gets this power. (85 is the ground "path" for this power.) This closes the relay and connects 30 with 87.
