And Alan was 100% correct! I forget sometimes how different LEDs are from incandescent bulbs. Sure enough, the fuse was blown, and when I replaced it, everything started working perfectly. I'm betting I shorted the end connector thing to the body at some point while removing or installing the fixture...that heat shrink Stan recommended is a good idea.

I also fixed my glovebox lamp, which was a simple burned out bulb issue. Initially, I could tell it was staying on always, because my glovebox door wasn't closing all the way, but the latch assembly on the door was loose. I tightened that up and as far as I can tell, it's going off. I did verify that that pin switch worked.
