What are the performance gains of a stroker kit on early 2v?
Has anyone installed a stroker kit on their early 2v 928? If so what kind of performance gains did you recieve? Also, if anyone has a dyno chart for early 2v ''stock vs modified'' with any kind of modifications and a ''side'' of 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile etc to go along with this question? So if anyone at all has some information about this topic, that would be great because I am clueless on where to find any kind of performance mods with hp/tq gain write up on early 2v cars.

Cory,
You might want to consider upgrading to a larger motor - 4.7 or 5L.
This way you could buy a motor, build it at your leisure, then do the swap over a weekend. You can expect all the numbers that you'd get from 1 extra liter of displacement - which is to say, probably not worth the hassle on 4.5. Just depends on how committed you are to the car.

The intake and heads of the 2 valvers can support big hp. just going to a 5 liter with a stock US 84 and euro heads gave us 293 at the wheels. Im sure 5.8 liters would gain quite a bit more. probably better to stroke a 5 liter block and do th 6 liter thing.
