The feature you describe is an initial auto-map, not an auto-tune. The Tec GT system actually has both.

Dont mean to split hairs, but it works based off the initial data you put in, and at populates your first map and does a very good job. Surprises us at how good it is once we get the car to the dyno - often it only needs a minor tweak.

It also has a sort of auto-tune, where it stays in loop with the O2 sensor and you can tell it where you wish to be A/F wise and it will adjust to reach and maintain your goals. The parts we like is you can assign a value to the auto-tune. Say 20% max, or 10% - so it cant "go nuts" with adjusting your settings from the map, its a limit on how much change you want it to do on its own.

The OP doesn't like this string, but just to answer your question - you would be lean - but the detonation characteristics with ethanol are such that you CAN go leaner than normal as long as the load is low. This depends, but tests (and real work tuning) have allowed 15 and 16 to 1 AFR at low part throttle and idle and ethanol will be fine. Obviously at higher loads you need to return to the volume required due to the lower BTU.

Play through.

BC, just to put a nail in it, here's the driving directions for Brad to get to the closest E85 station, from his current location. He'll never make it on one tank.

E85 might be ready for prime time in SoCal, but not on the shale fields of Northern Alberta.

You dont need to do that. But you can if you want. Before you do, please save your current map with a name that makes sense for later.

Then just modify this map, or go all the way back to the initial screen and start a new map from scratch. Your choice.

There is a small CD shipped with the Electromotive kit - be sure to look on there. Many people miss that. It is very helpful.

How sore is this horse?

Todd was over last night helping me with the 80, we were discussing a PCA rally tomorrow in Door County.
It suddenly occurred to Todd he cannot participate with the Twin Turbo. Why? No e85 gas stations in Door County.

Door? OKay.

Dual Fuel if someone thought it was important.

Ya its not in the CD drive for the car and I have looked high and low. The ex trashed everything and I'm just lucky the car was in one piece.
No mini cd to be found

To answer the original question in this post... we do make a Stage III kit that uses 1 BAR (14.7 psi) without any trouble on a stock engine.

Here is the page: http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/...harger_kit.php

Here is the dyno chart showing boost pressure. Please note HP and Torque numbers are at the tire. This was a manual transmission car. Divide by .85 to get engine numbers.

Which clearly proves that on a cold winter day in Wisconsin you can do at least one 8 or 10 second dyno run at 1 BAR..

That right there is some funny factual statement!
