Default Converting Automatic to Manual

So I have found a great 928 S4 that I really want to get my hands on but the problem is that it is an automatic and I enjoy manual so much more. I have a 928 parts car with a great condition manual transmission. I am aware that replacing an auto with a manual trans is always a big job, but also is nothing I have done yet before. What would I be looking at in terms of time and if it's even worth the effort?

I'd keep looking and buy a 5 speed.

Two reasons:

1. It's a bunch of work, to do correctly.

2. 928s are just on the "cusp" of getting valuable. A "converted" car is always going to be a "converted" car....with considerable less value.
