Then mount a set of turbos or have Tim M. build a supercharger for it and the WOW factor goes way up!

The torque band on that thing must look like a square wave. The only time he shifts is when he runs out of revs!!

Barry,

I'll bet you could build a 928 that would deliver all the straight-line performance (go AND stop) and 90% of the handling for under $100K. Including buying the car. And outsourcing a fair amount of the work.

Just a thought.

Yes, half-million dollar cars rarely offer the best bang for the buck! Probably do well under $50K.

Have you people watched the Weissach track footage?. He never puts it into 6th and most of the time he's in third. FRIGGIN BEAUUUTTIIFFULLLL

I want THAT job of being a test driver for Porsche. Anyone know how to get a line in?.
