Is it heresy to enquire if anyone has any experience putting a different manufacturers seats in a 928? Not aftermarket or racing seats, I'm talking about Corvette, Camaro, BMW, Mercedes...

Anyone have a suggestion about what might be close to fitting and have the right "stance"?

I do not know if they would work, but seats from the 90's dodge stealth look pretty good.

Tony in TX installed a pair of 997 hardback sport seats in his blue car. Looked very nice. I have those seats in my RUF 997 and they're great. Use the manual slide and height versions that only have power recline and it will simplify your wiring. There's a nice pair of those for sale in The Marketplace right now.
