Thanks Bob. I was going to post that up yesterday myself; I saw it on FB. Good vid and not an Enzo afaik. Even if it is, a worthy one indeed.

EPA highway back then was based on a 55mph speed limit.

Good review nice snapshot in time.
Interesting reference point, given that every plain jane Mustang Gt is rolling off the floor with more than 400HP now.

Also had a laugh at the contention that the dash belt warning light was for the cam chain...wha????? maybe I heard that wrong

For some reason, the auto shifter grip is the older kind on the test car.

It looks like the correct one to me Steve. There is a good view of it towards the end of the video, and the handle isn't the blocky looking barrel of the 84 and earlier cars, but the more sculpted one used after, from 85 on.

Ed,
Actually, the MW test car shows a 1983 and 1984 shift grip which is sculpted with a round button. The 1985 to 1995 have the non-sculpted oval shaped grip with small oval button. The pre-1983 ones have a non-sculpted round grip with round thumb button.

Thank you Steve - I didn't recall that middle version, just the top and bottom versions.
Good catch.
