Default Antera "17 wheels -love or hate?

I'm thinking about buying a set of Antera "17 wheels for my '85 928 fronts are 8.5 rears are 9.5, they are proper offset, are these a popular wheel for a 928, or any thoughts on these?

I think you need another one! Hard to tell without seeing them on the car but initial guess is that they wouldn't look to bad, If you can get them cheap give them a try! Always nice to see something unique, especially since there is no permanent change should you decide to change back!

I like them. I don't think they look dated as they're unusual. I'd like to see a pic with them on the car.

I don't think they compliment the car. But it's what you like that's important.

I don't love them or hate them. They just seem like an average factory wheel that would be at home on a Camry or an Accord.

I would take them over the Porsche sloted rims, price is important. They look clean and undamaged. Why don't you show us what you want to replace? We could make a better judgment.

People have said they are relatively heavy, which is less than ideal.

Well, you asked for opinions...

You said they fit well. That's a big plus. Wheels that properly fit a 928 aren't all that common.

They look to be in good shape. No curb rash or scratches that I can see in the pic.

I think they would look nice on the car.

But they are kinda "generic looking." I agree with the above comment about looking at home on an Accord or Camry. Love or hate the Manhole Covers (or the Phone Dials for that matter), you have to admit they are unique.

And Nicole says they are heavy. Wheels are one of the worst places to have excess weight.

Personally, I probably wouldn't go with them.

But I don't think they'd be a mistake if you like them, and they are a good price.
