smoked him
...literally.
Driving back from a Porsche Club GTG yesterday afternoon, and stretching the legs a bit on the interstate, when a couple of cars decided they wanted to stay with me or pass me. Dropped over to the far lane to get by a couple of cars and cracked it open, and as always, Blumaxx took off - gotta love these cars from mid-range - the power just delivers, no matter where you are in the band!
Anyway, one of the cars, a black SUV, thought he was going to stay with me. I was watching from the rear view mirror - saw him jump on it to try to catch me, then wump- nothing but white and blue smoke everywhere. He damn near disappeared in the haze. Last I saw he was pulling off to the side, with an apparent blown engine. I just pushed the pedal down a bit more and felt that wonderful torque take me to the next level. Intoxicating.

Parkway North thru the East Street Valley, going up the long hill. Blumaxx just pulled and pulled, running real strong. Lost the SUV near the McKnight Rd exit. Ouch!
There's a thought Matt - like the Batmobile, or an octopus - squirt out blue smoke to escape hot pursuers. Unfortunately for the SUV, the blue smoke was all his. White smoke too. I think he blew out everything under the hood!

I looked at your profile page here on Rennlist and didn't see any photos of your Bluemaxx 928.
Have you uploaded some to a certain thread?
I'd love to see your car if possible.
Thanks!!!!!

Went to the link and scrolled through the photos and that interior photo is what I use for my screen saver, ha small world. Mint car and beautiful interior is it original?

It's your car you can tell by the bottom left of the stick shift the fabric is slightly lifting just like your car in the magazine. Is your car color 304? If your car was built may 78 and is car 834 how can mine be 618 built in Oct 78. I'll upload some photo tomorrow. My car is not mint like your's I bought it DOA towed it home and been working on it ever since, I drive it daily it's been about four years.
