Is the Frenzy on for this year..?

I've been a little neglectful when it comes to keeping the Frenzy website updated. It seems like trivial things like family and work always get in the way
I'll try to get it updated to reflect 2015's details sometime in the not-so-distant future.

Frenzy has historically been held in northern Virginia near DC. The last few have been in Sterling, Va. right near Dulles airport.
It seems to get bigger every year. We had over 40 928s last year, many of them spectacular cars. Some folks drove a long way to attend and others, like them Texas boys, flew in.
The "53 Relay" award seems like it should become a regular event.
I nominate the following as other prospective awards:
1. Best Tape Bra (on a car).
2. Fastest cooler scooter lap.
3. Most erratic cooler scooter lap.
4. Best Pizza Hijack.
5. "Back from the dead" Trophy, aka The Fraggle Cup.
If any of this gives those who have never been to Frenzy the idea that it is a good time, your intuition is spot on.

6. Best dance on a spare tire by an solo or group act.
7. Most Russian Vodka/Wine/Beer drank on a Friday or Saturday night.
8. First lost 928 driver on a Fun Run.

If all goes well, this year should be my first year attending a Rennlist event, Frenzy ! I have owned my dream car since Nov 20th 2013, so only one summer of driving the car under my belt as far as reliability goes, so we shall see.

Good Lord willin' and the crick don't rise, I'll be there again as well - sans 928, of course!!!
Always look forward to seeing old friends, and meeting new ones at this (and other) 928 events.
PS: Bring some cash, as I'm going to bring some of my 928 'stash' that I've collected over the past 15 years in a 'close out' sale!

This thread reminded me that I just got my 2016 drill dates. Frenzy is good this year and looks good for next year (drill dates being subject to change), but April's drill in 2016 is - AGAIN - the same weekend as Hershey.

I hope that that you will be able to make it this year Shawn.
I'll be more than happy to pay you few beers for the great work you did with the watch project!
Can't wait for September!

When I was in the middle of the project and I had dozens of watches piled up and getting sorted and mailed and checklists being ticked and people being emailed, my wife says, "What are you getting out of all this effort? Are you making any money on this?" And I told her, no, I'm just hoping that I did the math correctly on the shipping and Paypal fees and that I'd break even. And she goes, "Well, you ought to get something for this much work." And I replied that I'm just happy to do something for the 928 community, and that I'd never have to buy my own drink at a 928 gathering ever again!
I love it when a plan comes together!
What hotel do we use? Is there a group set up?
