I had a great time at the Octoberfest a couple years ago.

I'm in as a sponsor.

I expect to bring the GTS this year.
Hopefully the S4 will be sold by then.

By a wide margin! That was hilarious seeing you zoom around the parking lot.

Guess I better get some more painters tape for the bra contest...

Guys and Gals,

Everything is squared away for the 19th annual 928 Frenzy to take place the weekend of Sept. 25-27, 2015.

This year will be very much like last year. The group hotel will be Holiday Inn Dulles and the Saturday event host will be Odd and Ends Detailing.

I expect to have the hotel booking link soon. Once that is squared away, I will start a new thread with the event info. The group rate will be $70 + tax.

Sean,

I did inquire last week to see whether Holiday Inn had any large groups booked for our weekend. The answer was, "no." However, they told me that Capital Meats tends to procrastinate with making their arrangements. So, there is still a good possibility that they will be there again this year. We may be entertained once again!

Free meat? Nice!
Same route for the fun drive?
Hope the track works out similarly....or perhaps with even less supervision... that was a blast!
Or maybe a half day 928 auto-x?

Someone in the know should make an effort to locate/notify the owner of the silver/orange OB (IIRC) that was racing that day.

I briefly spoke to Kevin (KLVA) about the Fun Run. I live in western Loudoun and have driven all the nice wine country backroads thinking about what would make a nice route. I'll work up something in ArcMap and ArcScene and post some sample map images. If folks provide feedback I can tweak the route until it's ready to post in ArcGIS Online or to share out as KMZ (Google Earth) files, and PDFs.

There's also a newer Cars and Coffee on Sunday mornings 8-10:30 AM at the Wegman's grocery just east of Leesburg. Could hit it on the way to Summit Point. There's a lot of "new money" living in this area so some of the most expensive toys imaginable show up. Would be nice to flood it with 928s. So far mine is the sole representative of the species.

Everyone bring walkie talkies too - must stay in better communication for the fun runs!

Hmm, Frenzy or Rennsport Reunion V at Laguna Seca... I know which one She Who Must Be Obeyed will vote for, so seeing 917's on the corkscrew will have to wait for another time.
