Default Aftermarket Exhaust

Hi guys I have a few questions for you all. Looking to beef up my 81 RoW 16v 928 exhaust note. I have a friend that got a custom exhaust made up that makes a really great sound. From my understanding it mostly a straight through system with 86 headers...video linked below

1. I have found a set of 83 928s headers for sale. Wondering whether they will fit my car and whether there is any performance upgrade in using S model headers from the standard non S headers that I already have fitted.

2. What would be the most cost effective way for me to get a decent exhaust system? I have found cats online for a few hundred bucks which seems reasonable but I don't have much welding know how or much of a facility to do it myself but I'm fairly handy with a wrench so installations aren't too scary to me.

3. Anyone out there be willing to share some kind of idea of a cost on an upgrade like this. I am in Australia for reference...

Thanks guys

Do you need a cat ??? a Y-pipe no cat and a Borla exhaust sounds pretty good with out sounding like an old V-8 Chevy truck with a rusted out exhaust....

Not all old Chevy trucks sound bad!

1970 chevy, sb350

headers with straight pipes front to back, a sound befitting a truck!
