Yes, the black rubber caps will Go back on the tensioner.

Did you rebuild the pump or something while it was off?
Just wondering, had mine off a couple weeks ago and tried lubing the bearings...but it was noisy a couple miles down the road later.

I have three pumps. It says no oil, and last time I took one apart, it was moveable vanes that were dry.
The front bearings I suppose, bit this was the original 30k mile unit.
