Please, for the love of God tell me you can see a difference...and feel free to lie to me if necessary...I'm use to it...been a mechanic for thirty some years and if I had a dollar for everytime someone told me their wipers quit working three years after I did their brakes and it was fine before I did the brakes...I'd be a millionaire...lol
Anyhow.
Before...
After...
Two hours of intense work, however...I believe it was worth the sweat and tears.
I had to rush the last set of pictures, since my wife wasn't home and I wanted to get off her lawn before she got back. Not that I'm afraid of her mind you, I just like eating home cooked meals.
Great job, something I really need to do. Isn't it funny how we are always a little worried about the reaction of the wife? Luckily, the wife is usually unaware of how much these cars actually cost to stay tip-top!
I must commend you on the your lawn,
in the first few pictures its clear you didnt use any Scott`s turf builder,
in the after pictures you can see how well Scott`s turf builder works,
it`s a beautiful lawn and no weed`s,
well done!
Love the wheels on your car,
you should see how they look at speed
You can most definitely see improvement in the very last photo, much more detailed reflection is visible in the painted surfaces.
Wow!
Have you ever tried "Zaino's" ? Zaino's is my very favorite car wash-polish-wax.
For Zaino's, it takes all day.
First I wash the paint with original Dawn dish soap twice,
then clay-bar with a spray bottle of very dilute Dawn and warm water.
Then chamois dry and start laying on thin coats of Zaino's with a terrycloth/sponge applicator pad. Dry, terrycloth buff, repeat.
Super-duper shiny, but the best part is that Zaino's smells just like Sweet-Tarts candy lol.
No, I yam not a Zaino's sales rep lol
Dan
Yes, nice!, looks great.
But as far as the wifey and the lawn, just say "hey, the grass is greener next door, and her pool boy drives a Prius."
..but how do I 'splain to the Wifey that my fenders look like crap now?
Okay, for a minute there I wondered if I posted the pictures on the wrong web-site...thought I may have been on greengrass.com or something.
After toiling over my car for two hours, sweating like a dog in the 100% humidity and leaving my arms and back in complete ruins...I get more comments about my lawn than the car.
Lets try and stay focused here folks...lol
But seriously, yeah the lighting might have added some extra shine...but the paint looked much deeper in person.
Side note...when my wife got home she said..."can you believe, someone pulled in the driveway and then turned around in our front yard".
Sorry Brian. Your car looked real good before. That's a problem, because it's hard to make it look better.
Two hours of hard work does give a small improvement, though. The same two hours on a faded POS would really make a difference, but that's not your fault.
Beautiful car.
