Default trip to Scotland

We are off to Scotland first 3 weeks of June and would like to meet up with like minded 928 folks if available.

Be glad to make arrangements over RL by PM.

We're taking the 747 GTS

Do not forget to visit the Gates factory in Dumfries were they make our timing belts.

Safe travels Malcolm and Daphne. Loved our trip to Scotland in 2012. Hope you have clear weather, free drinks in First Class and a great time.

Hi Malcolm, always amazes me how small the world really is. Diane and I are in Edinburgh right now for a couple of days celebrating our 25th anniversary. We're headed down tomorrow to the "wee" Village of Redpath (my namesake) just outside of Edinburgh about 35-40 miles for a quick visit, then back to Edinburgh before heading back to Phoenix on Monday.

Sorry we're going to miss you (and you too Mike), but you and Daphne have a wonderful Scottish holiday!

If you have time, visit this restaurant and see, if there is a 928 parked in the back:

Malcolm - assuming you will visit Glasgow - check out the Koh-i-noor for some indian food. When I lived in Swindon, England a colleague at work occasionally drove to Glasgow for the weekend specifically to eat at the Koh-i-noor and then he would bring back a mountain of food and freeze it to keep him going for the next few months. (this was about 12 hours of driving...) He claimed the food got even better with some aging in the freezer...

Koh-i-nor

I have eaten there and it is indeed very good (this was a long time ago - well over 20 years - but it doesn't sound like it has changed much over the years). Personally I wouldn't have driven that far... but he was Scottish!

I don't recommend taking food back to Canada though
