Thanks for posting , Tom! The ad has been up for a week or two, but without pics - I've been waiting on those to add to the car's page in the 928 Registry. It's a beautiful car!

Doing a write-up on it for German Cars For Sale Blog. Just called. Asking $89,900. Not bad considering the apparent condition.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

Just following trend what started few years ago on more collectable cars. Almost anything 15+ years old and somehow special is going up. If bubble do not burst soon $90k seem ridiculously cheap in few years time.

Well said.... it is a bubble only question is how long it lasts...Was just trying to buy a 68-72 Corvette roadster for a movie....they are now in the $25-50 price range but searching the country it seems many are in dealer inventories and / or scheduled to run in "collector" auctions...

Speaking of collectibility ... talking with Mike Lambert, prez of Austin Ferrari club (and owner of a DD GTS!) ... he says every Ferrari made before 1970 is now worth at least a million dollars ...
That's what I need in my IRA for long-term appreciation, a Ferrari!

More surprisingly Porsche Carrera GT is million dollar car now, at least in Europe. Under two years ago one could choose just about any common color for $300k. Just few months ago normal price was $500k. This smells like bubble to me. Top sixties Ferraris might keep current price level but when normal nothing special 328 GTS is $100k when they were $40k under two years ago there needs to be some correction where $100k drops back to $60-70k.
