Default AFR/Boost guage placement

So now that my S4 is Supercharged I need to install a Afr and boost guage. I went ahead and purchased an Innovate PSB-1, it has AFR and boost in one unit.

Now I have to figure out a good place to mount it, so I'd luv to see pics of where others have installed theirs.

So post em up gentleman.

Thx

I think the most elegant solution is Jim Mayzurk's, in his '93 GTS (see Jim M.'s signature picture...) but there's only 1 of them, and it's in Jim's car.

The easier solution is an A-pillar gauge cluster, Carl sells a 2-hole and 3-hole cluster, can't find them on his site but they've gotta be there somewhere.

I'll have to take a look at Jims..Not real big on the A piller look seems a bit ricer, not to mention I don't know what I would fill the other spots with.

I have digital gauges, and placed them in the center vent of my Gt along with my Valentine 1 remote. Super clean. The issue with putting them low like Jim and other have done is you can't really look at them. The a-pilar... well you know what's all about.

Most replace the Ash Tray/cig-lighter assembly w/ a custom plate and mount the Gauges, however as Andrew noted you have to look down.

Default Here's where we put it

Since the driver can change programs depending on situation, Eboost2 needs to be within a convenient reach:

Carl no longer has the A-pillar gauge holders available and isn't making any more. I had bought one of his last 2 last year and sent it to William Jewett in CA to be recovered and it's one of the things that fu--er kept and never sent me any parts. This was before I found Rob Budd.

I'm putting mine down in the ashtray area along with a couple of USB charging ports.

Has anyone tried the rear view mirror? I have seen it installed in some imports. I'm thinking of going this route.

Are speaking of an aftermarket mirror that has guages built into the glass, or some sort of mount that attaches standard guages below the mirror?

I have considered this although i have Innovate boost and AFR gauges not installed yet. I am thinking about going this route and selling mine.

My center console had screw holes where it had a cell phone attached so I just put the gauges on it. Kinda tacky but have not done what I plan on yet.

I pulled the ashtray insert/metal pat and then drilled 2 holes on the ashtray lid. Being so low, you have to make an effort to look at it but at least it's a clean instal. Sorry, can't post pictures because of Rennlist's screwed up rules.
