Differential Oil Change
Just realized the other day ... neither I nor the PO (per his service receipts) have ever changed the oil in the differential on my '94 GTS with PSD.
Checked out past posts and Erkka said "Porsche specs call for SAE 90 API GL-5 oil for automatic PSD diff. 3L for S4 and 1.9L for GTS"
Others said they were happy with Mobil 1 75w-90 gear oil for this application, which I used in my 968 and still have a quart or two on hand.
Any reason not to go ahead with the Mobil 1?

That's what I use.
Mobil 1 used to make two different versions of that gear oil....one regular and one that was "LS". You want the "LS" version (if they still even make the other)....which is what all of the generic chain stores carry, around here.
Those "late" PSD limited slips are a work of art and the concept is fantastic. A bit more modern control circuit would transform what they could do....
