I have ones from 87, 89 and 91 that are sitting on a shelf.

I save them, in case someone burns up a compressor clutch.
The cost of a clutch from Porsche is more than the cost of a brand new complete compressor with a brand new clutch from Denso.
At some point in time, I'll have to start throwing them away....the stack of old ones is getting pretty high.

Greg, that compressor rebuilder a few doors from Mark might be able to use them before they go in the scrap heap.
Considering the iffy quality of rebuilt and the costs of rework, the new ones from N-D are a bargain IMHO.

I tossed a bunch out last month when the space they were taking could be used for things I would actually use. I should have tossed my A/C compressor rebuilding tools as that was a waste of money and energy too.
