Default IGNITION CONTROL MODULE

I HAVE A 84 928S AND HAVE TRACED A NON START PROBLEM TO A FAULTY IGNITION CONTROL MODULE (RIGHT SIDE FENDERWELL).
WHERE WOULD THE FORUM MEMBERS SUGGEST I OBTAIN ONE?

928 International has good used units with a warranty !! 714-632-9288 ask for Tom ..

Don't forget to get heat paste. If you don't know what I'm referring to, search. Wyatt's Ride has experience with that module and dealing with it.

Do you guys think on a 27 year old car that has never had the module off that the paste should be reapplied? I have had no issues yet but that paste can't possibly last that long. Every other bit on the car crumbles at this age when you look at it wrong.

That would only apply if this was an 84 EuroS with EZK.

The rest of the 16V's have a different ignition module that is sealed, no maintenance or paste to worry about.

Hacker, I fixed it for you. IIRC, the K denotes knock sensors, which the 84 EuroS does not have.
