Cheap 928 S4
I come from the 951 area, so I am not expert, but seems like this S4 is a hell of a deal. No affiliation, saw it poking by on Craigslist.

Interesting that I don't recognize that one from local gatherings.
Low-Rez picture of the engine bay: but still, there's some weird stuff in there.
$5000 is an OK deal as long as it has some thrust bearing left

I'm always suspicious of cars being sold by private sellers where the ad says "Manual" and the pics clearly show an auto shifter. Simply mistake? Maybe, maybe not.

He mentioned that its Auto in the Ad, probably mistakenly put manual on the side info. Does look like a Massachusetts landscape... not the obligatory scammer that has palm trees or sand dunes in the back.

Phone number agrees with the location. Photos agree with the location. No license plates, but he might turn them in over the winter to save on insurance; dash photo shows engine running.
Someone ought to go look at it for us. We might go to Cape Cod next week....

I would not be surprised if he backed off and remarketed the car in a week or two for $7500. $5k is about half what I plan to sell my 87 Murf 5-speed for when I finally get it into show-able shape. I'd be tempted to buy a $5K 32v car if it had a decent interior and driveline.
