correct Upper A -arms / Wishbones for 1990 S4 RHD
Morning all,
am in the process of replacing my Upper A -arms / Wishbones and ordered some refurbed items here in Germany. The order was messed up - I got 2 rights initially so sent one back, received then a left one which was optically different to the right one. This is when I start getting confused. I told the company the left one they sent me was wrong so they sent me another, which is identical to the left one they sent me already.
If you look at the pictures you can see the two left ones I now have, as well as the right one.
The "knuckle" on the right one is not the same as on my car, which has the same "knuckle" on both the left and right, the same as on the 2 replacement left units I have.
Researching I found this page: http://jenniskens.livedsl.nl/Technic...2/MyTip230.htm
which confirms the replacement right Upper Arm number (928.341.458.24) is a production number - so the numbers match and they look identical (the one on the site and the replacement unit)
So, for a 1990 S4 RHD should the car have left and right upper wishbones which are identical apart from the angle of the arms (as my car currently has), and if not, is the replacement Upper right arm I have the correct one to fit??

The upper A arm on the right is to suit a 1978-1986 model which has different dimensions than your existing upper control arms.
The correct A arms you need are listed in the PET as 928 341 027 37 & 928 341 028 37
These are the correct part numbers for your 1990 model.
