Default Voltmeter gauge replacement

is there a way I can source a new voltmeter innards. Mine is erratic and will peg at 16V. I checked the volts on the wiring harness, and it is reading correctly.

Also not sure if my instrument cluster circuit board.. Diode can cause my symptoms. Looks like a simple circuit.

at this point all i know is my signal going into the board is good.

You can get used from 928intl. I have a problem with the temp guage. What is wrong (and a check for you) is the 'clip' that holds the ribbon is not present. This creates a not so good contact which will peg guage straight up. If plug is pushed onto cluster (you must reach behind cluster) guage works again. In short check the foil ends for good contact.
