Porsche...old and new passing
Went to Cars and Coffee at Herb Chambers BMW in Sudbury, Ma. Saturday. Herb owns almost every make of car dealership in the greater Boston area. As I was leaving, Herb was coming in his Porsche 918. "Out with the old, in with the new".
Lots of car of all types, I was the only 928
Lots of McLarens, Lambos, Astons, Bentleys, couple ferraris, new Jaguar F Type coupe (really sharp looking).
Had a great ride for my first outing of the season!

nice shot of your car in that picture - good caption!
Must have been the weekend for CnC. Ours started yesterday too, and there were others around the country as well.

Went to the C&C in Leesburg, VA this morning. Same cars were there (Astons, Lambos, Ferraris, Jags, new Corvettes. Mine was the only 928 there....but the Lambo and Ferrari owners were very interested in the 928 and the color. Eight years ago my 86.5 didn't get much respect. I always heard things along the lines of 'too bad it's not a 911'. Today, none of these guys even mentioned the 911. One Lambo owner asked a lot of questions and stated he loves the 928 and is looking to buy one (5 speed). The 928 is definitely feeling the love nowadays.
