"Stitching" together with the other two related threads...

Pasha Pattered Algorithm
Dr. Bob,
I measured Bridget Riley's squares and found more of a pattern than I would have expected, but also some anomalies - perhaps the key to her "movement". Riley's pattern has 17 squares on the left and 14 somewhat mirror copied squares on the right.
I also measured a sample I have (10" x 12") of the Paul Champagne pattern and found more anomalies than I would have expected, including the fact that the lines are not perfectly straight, but rather "bulge" within each square, giving a bit of an illusion of a weave pattern.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I was after a pascha pattern vector to find a use for and came across this thread....I run a print and sign shop and you have a couple of options to bring this to leather..
As you discussed, you can print heat transfer vinyl and press to leather as one option.
your other option (what I’d do) is UV print directly to the leather. We run a UV printer and if it fits through the printer, it’ll print. We print everything from glass, to cardboard, cell phone covers, wood planks etc. this is the perfect and easiest application for getting ink/pattern to leather.
And lastly, you could always laser it into the leather but of course no color there.
if you’re interested let me know. Happy to help you out and can turn it out super quick. Shoot me a PM. Did you ever solidify a vector PDF file? I was gonna wrap the roof of my buddies old air cooled for fun.

Another thread popped up with some interest or concern about Pasha, and includes some criticism about my thoughts about it. Here again is what I actually think about it and why.
