Tour Group 1 - is totally zen. Lunch at the Oasis (payment required), and a few stops after lunch at a few picturesque places. This is the Route Mike has planned out - and of course, I will be toting some people going on a more direct route to the stops.
Tour Group2 - is in the Spirit of the West. A long spirited drive, with only a stop for lunch.

I am going to do my best to arrive early Friday so that I can go check one of the roads I am concerned about (it has a few low water crossings). It should be fine, as that area hasn't received any significant rain in months.
Hoping it is dry, as this is one of the more scenic roads we will travel on.
That picture looks like we all stopped to watch Sasquatch cross the road.....which I think was actually me going to beg the state park guy for forgiveness for speeding in his 25 mph zone!!
If you squint, you can tell that he has Richard in his Cayenne pulled over opposite of all of us
Mike, I know how much time you spend plotting and routing these drives. I have heard from different people that we have among the best overall drives of all the GTGs.
We have you to thank for the routes and God to thank for the scenery.
