For the first time in about 8 years, I'm going to have to miss this awesome event. My son is a senior playing varsity football and his last game is that weekend. I'll be cancelling my reservation soon. Enjoy and be safe!

Hoping to take the new 88 S4. Need to take care of some of the deferred maintenance from the previous owner before deciding. New tires arrived las week.

They can't be playing footbal in Texas in November. It's got to be hot as a **** to play football and it's just not hot in November.

Secondly, he ain't playing all weekend, so we expect to see you on Sunday at least!

Hopefully, you'll make it since it just won't be the same without you.

Due to a recent scheduling conflict, it looks like I also will not be able to attend the Third Coast event . I have a reservation at the hotel on the lakeside with a king bed. If someone wants the room, please PM me with your name. I will then contact the hotel and let them know that you will take the room. I will then contact you and you can call hotel and give them your credit card information.

There is a nice La Quinta right across the bridge if you cannot get a room at the Hampton. Don't let this deter you from coming down!

You are all set, just call THE HOTEL, not a central booking line, and talk to Kathy and give them your CC to hold the room. It's 2 doubles on the parking lot side.

For others that need a room, Kathy says there are 12 rooms left in the block, so make sure you call the hotel and talk to her if you need a room.

I just called the hotel, spoke with Kathy, and booked a room.

She said there are 10 rooms left, so don't call the national number (who think the hotel is full).

So...call 830-798-1895, do not press 1 or 2 (you will only be transferred to the national line), hold until someone at the hotel picks up, and ask to speak with Kathy. She will hook you up.

Just booked a room, followed Rich's advice and talked with Kathy. There are still 10 rooms left but the cut off date, per Kathy, is the 5th of Oct. then the block comes off. See ya'll in November.

Frenzy was such a blast that I know I can't wait a year to do another 928 gathering. But, this is a long way away, my car isn't ready for this much of a trip, and it's a drill weekend for me.

I'll plan on making it next year. You guys have fun.
