I found this post in the 996 forum. this sounds like a great thing to do and thought it might be fun to join I did it jump it.

So I posted this to the Off-Topic forum as well but since I really only play in the 996 forum I figured I would cross post it here. Maybe someone wants to create a 996 'Tribe'... Some good friends have created an App that I thought you fellow Rennlist members might have an interest in. The App (called Zoku) allows you to join and form specific groups aka "Tribes." If you then are in the same room or physically near another Tribe member, the Zoku App will tell you and notify both Tribe members. The idea here is that you may randomly run across another Rennlist member and if you do, this App will let you know. Both sides have to "opt-in" of course. Privacy is a big part of Zoku. You can join multiple Tribes and create your own Tribes as well.

Why would we want a 996 Tribe?

Maybe a 928 Tribe.

When I posted this in the 996 forum this first response was "F#@! that".

I guess some of the 996 guys are not really into meeting each other "In Real Life".

Anyone can make their own Tribe with the Zoku App so a 928 Tribe would be easy to create.

Sounds similar to what my Dad used to do with the CB radio while traveling. Would take coffee/pie breaks during the trip meeting up with other CBers along the trip.
