Andy,
Thanks for the compliment on the car. It will be HARD to see it go. IF it doesn't, that's OK, as I think the value will be higher each year into the future!!
Everytime I see your avatar, I think of the great sound from your car as you passed Kitty and me (in our rental car) on the way to Wichita for the 928 Owners Club convention. FABULOUS it was!

Adding some pictures:
Porsche factory Cup II 17" wheels - silver. Rear - 9" et 55, 265/40. Front - 8" et 70 (very rare) 235/45. NO curb rash and no damage to any of the spokes (rare, as if they are allowed to fall on the wheel face, the spokes extend beyond the wheel/rim, so are damaged by the concrete/macadam.
Michelin Pilot Sport tires with 8-9/32nds tread depth.
These wheels are included in the sale, as well as the 'custom' 18" Sport Design wheels shown in the pictures.

I can't believe this car isn't sold yet... if you are in the market for a GTS you will wait a long time to find one in as good condition and as thoughtfully upgraded for this money. If you want a garage queen all stock I understand some reluctance (though even then not much) - but if you want to drive and enjoy the car - why wait - it just doesn't really get any better than this...

I believe congrats are in order on the sale.
Sorry to see it go. I was trying to get a friend of mine to buy it but he dragged his feet apparently.

TONKA is tentatively sold. Bought by a relatively new member of 928 OC. I'll let him/her communicate here once the transaction is complete. After many e-mails and a few telephone conversations, I am VERY HAPPY with the new owners - Clearly car people. In a few weeks, TONKA may be able to 'inhale' the great air of the Pacific Northwest.
THANKS to all of you who made such great comments about the car (and I am truly flattered about your comments concerning me). I believe those postings gave a great deal of comfort to the purchaser.
As I said earlier, as long as the 928 community will tolerate me, I hope to stay as an active member, refreshing old friendships and making new ones.
THANKS AGAIN to all of you.

Gary, I have a running S4 that I would gift to you, if that was what was required to keep you in the community. Or perhaps you can be the Coral GTS's god-owner.

Gary - congrats!
Glad for you and sad at the same time - hope you stick around... it's been a long time.
PS: send me the steering wheel info...
