Don't think so, unless he's been holding out on me- I'd own that motor.

Couldn't agree more!

I've had a 90 GT since 2007. It's mostly been a weekend toy although I did use it daily for two months a few years back and it was always an occasion driving it, either the fun spirited drives or the attention, comments and interest it drew. I took it off the road almost two years ago to start a large mechanical refresh, then frequent travel for work put that project on hold. I missed driving a 928 so much I bought another one.

Every drive puts a smile on my face.

Will be unveiling next weekend during "Spring Fling"

Rob,

I just got so inspired by your awesome job on the 90GT (I was going to bid on that one but Tony C talked me out of it [SOB] son of beachy

However sometimes its good to wait a while and keep your mouth

I tip my hat to your restoration work and documentation that are beneficial to so many others out here, I wish you well.

I'm hoping to be in the same boat soon, loving the newly purchased 928. Bought it in Nov. of 14 and have been working on it, on and off, all winter. I planned on working on it today, but it was to cold...so l sat in the garage listening to it run for an hour or so. Yes, the garage doors were open...lol

I'm hoping like **** that I enjoy this car as much as I hope I enjoy the thought I have of driving it...if that makes any sense (talk about a me, me, me sentence, mentioning myself five times...) Still hunting for another set of rims before go time, but if worse comes to worse...the old seven slots can go back on, along with some insurance and plates.

Fingers crossed and right foot ready for action.

Brian.

Brian.
The first time I drove mine was with power steering working poorly and the right front brake squealing like a stuck pig every time the car slowed to less than 20 mph. And it was on I-5 from the Bay Area to So Cal — which has been beaten to **** by trucks and is generally considered one of the least entertaining bits of road in the CA.

It was a blast! That car soaked up the miles. After six hour more-or-less non-stop, I was still ready for more.

In short, I'm pretty sure you're going to love it.

Michael - Nice meeting you on Saturday at C & C. That was my '78 5 speed - it is a work in process for sure, mechanically pretty good and I do love the Pasha from the donor car (78 Euro - automatic - bought on Ebay for $1850 - has several other parts that will be moved over and the rest probably parted out. Spent most of the day yesterday trying to get donor running - lots of fuel problems when these cars sit too long.) I like you S4 - very clean - hope to see you again at C & C Greensboro. The 928 contingent is growing!

Hey Dave-great to meet you! Definitely will be a regular. Also trying to get some Triad 928 folks together. Know 1 or 2 others.

Sorry--just posted the next one is Saturday. I missed the one in WS yesterday. Will try to make it if I am in town next month.

We can caravan from my house around the corner and line us all up in one row.
