Default What this connector is for ?

Hi guys, i was working on my instrument cluster,2 bulbs were blown... I was ready to Bolt on knee pad and a 2 pole connector was hanging....

that plug appears to be the one that attaches to the "key in the ignition" sensor,
located along the underside of the steering column ,
between the steering shaft portion and the key cylinder

I found a picture on rennlist that can be helpful for the next time someone else remove instrument pod or ignition switch and find this connector dangling down...
I hope I can plug in this without removing the entire pod again....

Just check ed and it is not that... It is located under steering column line,above brake pedal, white/Brown and Black/violet wire, it looks like it was never connected.

next step look at the wire colors and then use the wire diagram to figure out where they go

Am doing that, i am scratching my head also cause female pins inside are like new, it seems it was never user but I don't know where it can go... Can't figure out what can there be over there...

after hours of search, there is no connector with Black violet /White brown wires.Only one item with bk/vi- (but no White Yellow or white brown wire) that, possibly is in dashboard nearby area, is for the switch of kickdown xxvii relais and then another one that goes to starter relais V .

I think it is related to GTS cars with auto transmission and cruisecontrol.

Mine is manual.
