Default Red rear shox

with the GTS in the air (many projects) I see the PO installed Bilstiens up front but the rear shox are red with no ID.

Would these be sport Boge units? ('92 GTS)

TIA

Must be an imprint or part # on there somewhere....

IIRC the Konis used to be avail for 928 in both red and yellow versions.

The Koni's for sure have the brand and model numbers stamped in the tube. Not as sure about the Boge sport shocks.

Rear Boge Reds do have part #'s stamped in them, not prominently:

Malcolm,

I have a set of brand new, never installed red Koni front shocks for a 928 GTS that are available!! I have a full set of these, along with Eibach springs on the '94, and it handles/rides great!

Boge was the supplier for the M474 option on late-model 928s and they are red. My car had these before I replaced with Bilsteins.

When owners find out that a set of Boge reds (only available via Porsche) are circa $1400 list they quickly revert to Koni or Bilstein.

Running Boge's and the Eibach springs..per recommendation of a wise man somewhere in Texas

Has a nice absorptive ride...had to raise it up a couple times...kept hitting stuff cause of the soft rebound..but it looks fine up where I have it....
