I like the gold phone dials. Have also been considering considering gold slotted wheels.

No pics of it - its just in my head, altho' someone with photoshop skills or 3d-modelling might be able to do a picture of it by overlaying a transparent pascha pattern with a gradient, onto a pic/model of a 928.

I've been wracking my brain trying to work out where I saw a pic of a white car (not 928) with very subtle light-grey checks on it, but no luck yet with google image search. Here's a couple of pics show elements of the idea.

Here's a not-too-contrasting color check. Also note the reflection line on the car - thats about where I'd say the design should end, so above the reflection its just a normal paint job.

And here's an example of a design fading out as it goes up..

In terms of making it a practical reality - I'm guessing printed vinyl wrap would be the way to go.

That could be very cool. Great idea.

Singer Design or Magnus Walker? Singer does big budget modernized stuff, Walker does retro. Tony's pic is a good retro idea that could use the new 18" phone dials being made versus the old 16". Another is the orange european based S4 with the roll cage.

My thoughts on a Singer look would involve just a great paint job, no graphics, and some cool wheels -- like these pricey ones that would look like an updated 80's bbs --

These also might look great, you never know until you see them, but these 2 designs if available in 18 are my potential favorites --

Hey TV: That "basic" (10-spoke) 18" rim design has been on my 928 for almost four years. They are 2011 Panamera wheels with a staggered fit (8' front and 9" rear) with virtually perfect offsets for our sharks. They can be picked up today for around $500-$600 a set on ebay.

Paul, Thank you for the tip and I don't want to come off like a #@$@, but there are lots of 10 spoke wheels out there and more than the one example on 928's, BUT it's all in the details, the finish.

even these and still more, I've looked at them all and nothing comes close to the HRE's. and I am sure the price reflects it.

So I just looked and saw the wheel at HRE, the P101, they come in 19", with all kinds of finishes, so I googled them in a satin bronze finish and here is what they look like. Put these on a newly painted metallic black 928 and wow --- Found a price on a guy selling these $7,200
