Does anyone know what is interior color code QP in a 91 928 GT? Pics shows 2 tone gray for draped supple leather.

BTW, is it much difference between "regular leather" vs "draped supple leather" for 928 seats?

Yes, the leather is softer, and has some pleating rather than being taut. I believe it only applies to the cushion centres/inserts, not the borders of the cushions.

Interior codes are the mystery of the ages, no one has ever been able to decipher them. The two-letter combination apparently references a particular configuration of multiple elements ... may be deliberately obscured/undocumented by the mfg. for marketing or other reasons.

M980 Seat cover ruffled leather option has no effect on interior code. AFAIK it's same QP for without and with that option.

What matters is are seats leather or cloth and what color combo they are. Each possibility has it's own code. Usually it's possible to make educated quess based on what colors were available each MY. For '91 MY most likely combo is classic grey dash etc and light grey seats.

Vilhuer may be right. The dash and center console is a medium gray, while the carpets, seats are light, almost white-linen. Goes well since the car is slate gray metallic
