Hello 928 Vendors!!!! How do you prefer to be contacted?
I am just wondering how each of the vendors here
prefer to be contacted?
There are so many ways to connect now, which methods are
preferred by the vendors for their businesses?
Is it easier to use PM here on Rennlist? Or email, or voice phone?
Just trying to get preferences, that's all.
Thanks,
Dan

Lets see... I receive emails, phone calls, texts, website contact forms, facebook posts to page, facebook pm's, and rennlist pm's.
Honestly, I don't have any preference because whatever makes communication easier for my clients is fine with me.
My website contact form is great for starters because you can submit all your contact info.
Email is the most versatile because you can attached files and it's easier to organize.
Phone is good when you have to hash out alot of detail that would take forever to type.
Text is perfect for small pieces of info.
Facebook and RL pm are okay just limited in functionality.
Thanks for asking.

And ordering from your website is pretty awesome too… the e-mails let the customer know what’s going on. It's always the same:
#1 – “Thank you for your order” e-mail
#2 – “Your order has been shipped” e-mail
#3 – Click-n-Ship with tracking number e-mail
#4 – Customer receipt/purchase confirmation e-mail

We prefer email as the number one contact medium.
Phone second, text third, Facebook OK and PM last.
We like the personal touch which does not work for everyone.
Our web site sucks so do not waste your time ordering there 8>)

Email and telephone works very well for us.
We find this to be very helpful to have customers order the right items for their application since there are many variables.
We also help many diagnose their drive line problems and have even saved potential customers the cost of ordering our products when it clearly wouldn't help their issues.
Cheers,

Email is always the best way.
Order from the web site.
Email
or phone (between 9AM and 5:30PM Eastern Time) for questions/ orders.
I can take phone orders if you give me a chance to clean the glue off my fingers or crawl out from under a dash.

email is best for me - PM's are a bit of a pain and if any files need to be sent then we have to revert to email anyway.
I'm happy to take 'phone calls at any reasonable time 9.30 GMT to 2200 GMT, bear in mind that GMT is 5 hours ahead of east coast USA and 8 hours ahead of the west coast.

Email to GregBBRD@aol.com will get anyone the quickest response. I check my personal email several times a day. One can call, but if I'm out in the shop working, Mary will refer you to my email. If you are having a genuine emergency (stuck on the side of the road, going "postal" because you can't figure something out, trying to put your car back together and are terminally stuck) and need immediate help, call my personal cell (714 305 0828), leave a short message, and I will get back to you ASAP. I do answer PMs, but I don't read them every day. I'm bad at checking the business email, so if you send something there, you need to be very patient.

928 Vendor Spreadsheet
Daniel, Great question! One that I have thought about in the past, but never asked. With the replies supplied from the vendors (and some info from their websites) I have made a quick spreadsheet to consolidate vendor contact info. It was for my personal use, but thought I would share it. It is rough and incomplete--but a starting point to add whatever info and vendors you wish. I apologize to those vendors not included--please add your info! This is going into my Dropbox so I will have it on all of my devices whenever needed.
I used Excel, but Rennlist would not let me upload it in that format, so I converted it to an XML file. I hope it did not lose anything in the conversion.
