Question "Porsche certificate of authenticity program"

Hello All,

I was looking at the "Porsche certificate of authenticity program" in the member’s area (I finally got off my *** and paid up).

From what I can see it does not offer an original MSRP window sticker, or anything close. It seems to only be a certificate that includes options, sale price, etc...

This certificate does sound rather nice, but can anyone confirm if you can get a MRSP window sheet?

Has anyone partaken in this certificate program? If so, what was your opinion?

Thanks in advance

I have a certificate for mine.

Here's a list of what is and is not included (this came with the cert)

IS:
  • VIN
  • Model year and type
  • Birth date when available
  • MSRP when available
  • Engine number
  • Trans number
  • Exterior paint color and code
  • Interior material color and type
  • Country of origin
  • Factory-installed options
IS NOT:
  • Aftermarket or dealer-installed options
  • Previous owners
  • Dealer of origin
  • Warranty history
  • Decoding stickers in door jams, engine bay, or anywhere else
  • Production numbers
  • Tech info pertaining to vehicle
You can see a scan of my cert on my web site

Unfortunately, the MSRP was NOT available for my car

The MSRP and birth date were not available for mine either. I assumed that it was because I had an older model.

Has anyone had experience requesting a Certificate for an imported (aka Euro) vehicle? Just wondering if PCNA would "certify" these as well as the ones it actually imported and sold through the dealer network.

Anyone got a CofA for a Euro?
