No real mystery here, I think we all buy and sell cars as we see fit. For me never an investor with autos more enthusiast. I still own every Porsche I purchased since 1996 ( except for the botched S2 conversion) because they are great cars.

On the 928 have owned it since October and something else came on the market that caught my interest.

As for Mike I am not sure, bought two cars from him last year a month apart. Gave him his asking price on this one.

I can only assume he really wants it back because he has a hot buyer for it. Not sure why he would still have it on his site.

Thanks

Of course, I'm probably wrong, the internet is often more weird than I expect!

I guess time flies then - since this was posted at the beginning of February. Doesn't seem like October would have been "recently" in this context. Strange story that doesn't add up. However, I don't care what the outcome is, just along for the ride

If you look at his fleet of cars.....the GTS driving experience was probably pretty underwhelming !! The look was far better than the reality. The Alpina B-7 with 500 HP is quite a ride......

giddyupp posted on May 2, but just to clear this, it is not listed in Wilhoit's inventory at this time. I haven't seen it on ebay. I would have noticed.

Yep - this car was definately on eBay last week and was definately still on Willhiots website last week. It is actually still listed on Autotrader.

So it's listed on Autotrader for less than the last bid on eBay, who was a zero feed back bidder. Seems to be coming down a bit on the price. Must be depreciating.

Its really ironic that my car is listed on MH website and autotrader when he does not even own the car. I'll have to call.

There is even a stock # on autotrader amazing. Well maybe Mike just likes the controversy. As they say any press is better than no press.

The Autotrader ad might not be legit and I did not see the car in question in Willhoit's site either. My 2001 one of one NSX was posted for sale on Autotrader by some scammer so this is possibly the same scenario.

Yes I saw my 72 Datsun 240z on ebay and craigslist about 3 days after I had purchased it on sale for 2500.00 No phone number just a email. Lots of scammers everywhere.
