Hi Glen-

I'm afraid the decoding database only works for 1980-95 928s, yours is a '79. PCNA may be able to help, but at some cost...

Sorry what is PNCA? I was more wanting to know is the last 4 the production number or the last 3?

Porsche Cars North America- they should be able to print you a certificate of authenticity that would list the option codes. $110 unless you're a member of PCA.

Last 4 digits is the serial #, so yours is the 1528th U.S. '79 model.

Thank you for the quick response. So #1528 Do you know how many where produced in 79? I know its not rare at all just nice to know.

Glasurit paint is 5 yrs old. Its in Chicago Ridge, IL.

No, it's a complete project car, been sitting several years.
Although the paint and body are very good, the interior is typical of all outside sitters.
Too much of a project for a driver, and too much for me to get involved in restoration.
