What can be done? My car has 1. had a recent and decent BC/CC paint job and 2. i don't have money to paint it anyways.
Can you make plugs work and look seamless? The other option i was thinking was plug them with something semi-permanent and then just get it wrapped, but again, 2K to do an average wrap job.

I did it by painting nice quality and extremely inexpensive plastic hole plugs i found on ebay.
If you were standing talking cars with me Matt you'd never notice unless i pointed it out. (a 928 person would notice but no one in my world did)
It actually looked nice as it was the effect you get w/o rub strips.
I am usually not pleased with doing this kind of thing but it was nice looking
all info is in the link.

That car ^ is my Gulf Blue 928 "RS" but the first time i repainted it in the factory color (Slate Blau). I did what Crumpler
recently did, deleting the rear spoiler and antenae and probably some other heavy things.
Page 2 of this Pelican thread has good close ups in daylight.
good luck,
Matt

Really?? Yeah i was going to say, would have thought plugs are the "hack method" by your standards lol. I give you (or anyone else who creates a model that is in the image of what the marque would have done) props for what you did on that car. That car is the whole package.
I'm doing it the costliest method as it is necessary in my case.
I am replacing the fenders and doors as both fenders have/had accident damage and 1 door got tweaked some time in the past due to an undocumented accident and whistles like a ****. But it kept the seals nice and plump from not forcing them to seal.
I found out that they added the strips to cover the undocumented damage in my case. Gotta love Po's
The plugs will be your best bet. They really do look quiet nice and it gives you the opportunity to remove the rear wiper and fill the holes with those plugs. It is much easier/safer than welding aluminum and way cheaper than buying new panels.
