It should, it is a double-DIN unit, and not as deep as regular double-DIN's, so it should clear the vacuum pod and other stuff behind. I saw it today as well, and I think I have decided what is going into my GT

i like that. i wonder what the cost will be. the alpine Ilx-007 is what I'm thinking about right now

 

Who's going to be the first to send one to Jerry so he can figure out how to make console inserts to fit around it? Wouldn't even have to go to the trouble of recessing the console face if it's that shallow.

 

Android: 43.7% & Apple: 27.3 % car play head units are making there way into new VW, Volvo's, etc soon. The absence of CD allows for a shallower head unit and will make for a flush fit for the 928. By the time Carl (aka FLYVMO) gets his project on the road, a newer technology will have already supplanted this technology T

 

We may have flying cars by then...
