Default Help with Flex Plate Bolt Part Number

Always amazed what I find on this car... Looks like the PO left off two bolts from the flex plate. I can not find the part number for these bolts, and I am wondering if anyone more knowledgable then me can help out. My plate is still attached, this is a pic I found on the web... But I do need the central Bolts.

Got a representative bolt out, and will go to the bolt shop tomorrow. Looks like a M8 x 15 12.9 grade flange bolt.

Wonder why he would have removed them in the first place.

IIRC, these bolts should also have a serrated surface under their flange to grip onto the clamp body.

I would also use some red Loctite on the threads of the new bolts and torque to at least 45 foot lbs.

They are serrated... Hope I can find them. I think they are part of the flex plate from porsche, and not an individual part. I did find some on the inet. I am not a fan of red loctite, but may make an exception in this case. Easy to heat if they ever need to come out...

as i already had the red loctite for the rear drive plate service bulletin, i had the tech use the red loctite on the front bolts with the SuperClamp install too.

can't hurt.

Red loctite will ensure they stay put, there is a lot going on in that area.

You wouldn't want them coming loose and zinging around your bell housing under speed.

Just a suggestion.

Have to agree. Kind of scary in what I found in there... Just glad I looked.

For reference, the Flexplate to torque tube bolt is a grade 12.9 M10 1.25 X 20mm serrated flange hex head bolt. They are hard to find.

I do not see them listed in the parts catalogue.
